Heroic-North brag bliver ikke en realitet alligevel**
Heroic og North skulle have stødt sammen i upperbracket i WESG kvalifikationen, men braget mellem to af Danmarks bedste hold bliver ikke spillet alligevel.
Kampen var oprindeligt skemalagt til i morgen, men da Heroic er til DreamHack Open Winter i Sverige, ville det danske mandskab gerne rykke kampen mod rivalen.
Problemet er dog, at North har så travlt et program frem mod ESL Pro League Finals i Odense i næste uge, at løverne ikke kan rykke kampen til andre dage end i dag eller i morgen på hvilket som helst tidspunkt.
Heroic har, ifølge North-lejren, ikke kunne finde tid til at spille hverken i dag eller i morgen, og derfor bliver Snappi, cadiaN og co. nødt til at forfeite kampen og give North sejren.
Head of Esport Operations i North, Graham "messioso" Pitt, har sendt følgende forklaring til Dust2.dk:
We planned our preperation for our upcoming tournament in Odense based on the schedule the tournament organiser has sent to us on the 24th of October, which listed an initial match between the 24th and 27th of November, followed by a match on the 28th if we lost or 29th if we won. We purposely declined to participate in Dreamhack Winter to focus on preparation for Odense which was complimented by avoiding any clashes for the WESG qualifier that we are taking seriously. Experience has taught us as recently as Starladder, that playing online tournaments whilst at an event is not a good idea. This has allowed the team to practice and compete from a controlled enviroment in our offices and hopefully have the best preperation for both WESG and Odense.
When made aware that Heroic had difficulties that they discovered only a day ago, we offered to play the match on either the dates of 28th or 29th at any time of day that suited them, as those were the days we had allocated to the WESG event this week. To our knowledge, WESG couldn't reschedule the match to the daytime slot on the 28th due to broadcast issues, and Heroic are travelling to Jönköping in the evening. They also declined to play between their matches at Dreamhack on the 29th. For us, every other day in the near future is either fully scheduled with team/partner activities, preperation for Odense and travel to Odense.
Dust2.dk har forsøgt at få Heroics side af sagen fra både LOMME og cadiaN, men det har ikke været muligt at få kontakt til dem. Snappi og es3tag har dog begge været ved tasterne på Twitter, hvor de antyder, at North er nogle kyllinger, så noget tyder på, at de ikke er helt enige udlægningen fra North.
North er dermed videre til upperbracket finalen, mens Heroic er i lowerbracket. To hold går videre til WESG 2019, så både North og Heroic kan stadig kvalificere sig.

Heroic fortæller nu til Dust2.dk, at holdet gerne ville have spillet i dag, men det ville WESG ikke tillade, og i morgen er det ikke muligt grundet DreamHack Open Winter.
